This page is from Jacob ben Asher's Arba'ah Turim (The Four Pillars), laws relating to the daily conduct of a Jew. The section here is the opening from Orah Hayin ('Way of Life'). The initial-word panel Barukh (blessed) is inhabited by three white rabbits. The lower medallion contains the coat of arms of Joab Emmanuel. This manuscript was originally created in Italy in 1475. The scribe was Hayim Barbut.
