Maharana Bhim Singh (reigned 1778-1828) wears a blue gown, crimson paijama and an orange turban, and rides a plump stallion with distinctive leg-of-mutton legs. The kings of Rajasthan were great patrons of art and often commissioned portraits and lavish depictions of court life.
