Maharaja Mokham Singh (reigned 1839-41) is featured riding a magnificent stallion with hennaed lower half, with attendants walking with flywhisks, a spear and a parasol. The kings of Rajasthan were great patrons of art and often commissioned portraits and lavish depictions of court life.
