Legal Treatise known as Bracton
An ambitious legal treatise, composed in the wake of Magna Carta, attributed to Henry of Bratton, De legibus et consuetudinibus Angliae (England, 13th century). At the top of the page is a miniature of a king holding a sword in one hand and a sealed charter in the other. British Library Additional MS 11353, f. 9r.
