Map of Leicestershire
This colourful historic map, created by John Speed, depicts the English county of Leicestershire. It is taken from The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britain, originally published by I. Sudbury et G. Humble in 1616. The caption reads: 'Leicester both Countye and Citie described, the Honourable Famylies that have had the titles of Earls thereof. With other accidents therin observed.'
