Rama and Sita return to Ayodhya
Once Rama and Sita have been reunited, following Ravana's defeat, the royal procession enters Ayodhya in triumph. The four brothers and Sita bow before Kausalya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra and all is forgiven. Image taken from Ramayana, Yuddha Kanda. This copy of the Ramayana was commissioned by Rana Jagat Singh of Mewar in Rajashan between 1649 and 1653.
